is boxing and wrestling enough?
I love boxing and wrestling, and they’re both a big part of my training, but is boxing and wrestling all you need?
Even if you're a world class boxer, you can still get stabbed to death by a smaller and weaker opponent, if all you try to do is throw punches while he's stabbing you.
An Olympic level wrestler will still get badly hurt if he tries to fight against multiple people swinging punches and kicks at him if all he tries to do is wrestle.
As dangerous as boxers and wrestlers are, they are still missing street fighting components that can get them into a lot of trouble in a real fight.
Now imagine a person who has not only great boxing and wrestling skills, but also a street fighting mentality and knowledge. A high level boxer and wrestler who also has situational awareness for the street, and is familiar with the principles of fighting against a knife or stick, and multiple opponents.
A person who mixes boxing, wrestling, street Combatives, and Warrior development drills is indeed a dangerous and capable warrior.
